Overview
A relaxed 4.5-hour private morning charter on the sailing catamaran King 9, from 09:00 to 13:30, made for up to 10 guests. You leave Koh Samui while the sea is at its calmest and the light is bright, which makes the morning slot the best choice for snorkelling.
Your first stop is the clear water around Koh Tan. Here you can snorkel over the coral reefs, swim off the deck and drift on the floats. On the way to Koh Madsum (Pig Island) the crew pauses for a fishing stop with rods provided. Beginners get help from the crew. At Pig Island you anchor off the beach, meet the friendly resident pigs on the sand, enjoy a snack and swim or paddleboard in the calm bay.
The whole boat is yours, so your group sets the pace. The return sail back to Samui is a leisurely one, and you are back at the pier by about 13:30, in time for lunch on shore.
