They know the island's waters and fishing grounds, and they show you the traditional methods they use themselves. The boat takes up to 20 guests, so it suits families, groups of friends and corporate teams who want a hands-on day rather than a standard sightseeing trip.
Fishing alongside the crew: You fish with the fishermen next to you, using the gear provided. They handle the practical side, so beginners can learn as they go and experienced anglers can pick up some local technique.
Snorkeling and a coastal cruise: Between fishing sessions, the boat stops for a private snorkeling session over the island's coral reefs, with equipment supplied. You then cruise around Koh Phangan's coastline and see its bays and shoreline from the sea.
